I started this absolutely ages ago. Then it sat and sat and sat on my destop until today...when I suddenly got the whim to finish it.

Of course this meant that since I hadn't drawn the hands the first time around I had to do them from scratch...which meant deleting the cool background glow stuff...which I then couldn't remember how I had done it in the first place. >.<

Still, I think I got it right in the end.

Ahem. For those that don't know my work (which is likely many people), this is my OC Karete, in her incarnation from 'Another Time' and not 'Duel of Fates' or 'Kold High' where she is more frequently seen. Which is a pity because she is so much more likeable in 'Another Time'.

When she was at school, this was her uniform.

Black hair is hard to shade and I was getting a sore hand by the end of this, plus I think she looks better that way.
